Describe your business in a few words:

What was your background prior to starting your own business?
My background was a strong HR background, a Bachelor’s degree in BA, Masters in Montessori Education and School Leadership. But most importantly my husband who believed in my ability to be an entrepreneur before I did.
Did you always know you wanted to be an entrepreneur?
I was almost certain I would never be an entrepreneur. I did have very high standards for Early Childhood Education and Training. I always believed to go after excellence and success will follow. The harder I tried to accomplish these goals the clearer it became that in order to accomplish my vision I will need autonomy and began my journey as an entrepreneur.
Take us back to when you first launched your business, what was your marketing strategy to get the word out, and did it go as planned?
When I first started Referrals from happy parents over the years and schools, I trained at were my number one marketing tools. I did use Facebook ads, moms groups as a tool.
What is the accomplishment you are the most proud of to date?
My work with our Non-Profit Bright Offerings. We have trained over 150 teachers and partnered with close to 30 schools in TX offering free Early Childhood Specialist training. This allows us to help other women who have worked in the Child Care industry for years get a credential through our partnership with local and federal agencies.
This in-turn creates strong child care systems so women all over can confidently go to work knowing their children are cared for by credentialed teachers and of course the children who may not be able to attend my school can still have access to a great program. Early childhood education & supporting women is a great passion and I feel privileged I am able to do this through our non-profit Bright Offerings.
Do you believe in work/life balance? What are some of your best tips?
Absolutely! “Nothing is Everything” – I remind myself that I can’t be everything to everyone. Find things you enjoy and surround yourself with people that make you happy.
What have you achieved recently that you’d like to celebrate with our community?
Over 97% teachers at our school are credentialed in Early Childhood field and rest in training. We are also able to support many of our leads to be early childhood trainers.
What’s next for your business? What can we expect to see over the next few years?
We will be expanding our Early Childhood Training Services TX wide and will be launching Early Childhood Leadership Academy in second qtr. of 2022.
