I created original, custom art with a contemporary edge for businesses and private clients. My site showcases my art.
What excites you about being an Entreprenista League member?
Meeting dynamic, interesting, and creative women and building a support network.
What made you take the leap to start your own business?
I’m independent and creative and always wanted my own business.
What was your background prior to starting your own business?
Fashion design and advertising.
Did you always know you wanted to be an entrepreneur?
Yes, since art school I always wanted my own business.
Take us back to when you first launched your business, what was your marketing strategy to get the word out and did it go as planned?
Wholesaling and doing trade shows.
What is the biggest challenge you have encountered along the way and what did you learn from it?
Learning how to make a profit and not overspending on marketing.
What is the accomplishment you are the most proud of to date?
Taking the leap of faith and making art my full time business.
Do you believe in work/life balance? What are some of your best tips?
I’m still a work in progress. My tips are meditation and following your heart.
What’s a piece of advice you can share that you wish you’d known when you first started your Entreprenista journey?
Do not second guess yourself. Trust your Gut.
What have you achieved recently that you’d like to celebrate with our community?
Pivoting and starting fresh with my art business and taking new risks.
What’s next for your business? What can we expect to see over the next few years?
I will be doing an art fair during Art Basel week this December. I look to engage with more businesses to create one of a kind Branded Art.
