Hi, Tara! Please share a brief introduction about yourself and your business:

My name is Tara Magalski, and I am a wellness maven and the founder of Divine Lifestyles, and the DL Collective: a membership-style spirit-led community and online holistic health + healing resource center, an online sanctuary to experience a deeper state of alignment with personalized resources and community support. I’m also a certified Holistic Hormonal Health Counselor (CHHC and AADP), a board-certified and accredited member of the American Association of Drugless Practitioners, a certified Kundalini Khalsa Way Prenatal Yoga Teacher, a certified teacher of The Soul Awakening Method in Epigenetics, breathwork facilitator, speaker, and event producer. At Divine Lifestyles, we align our actions with divine guidance allowing for purposeful decision-making and a deeper connection to our work. We create sacred & unique experiences and retreats guided by intuitive and ancient wisdom, weaving in modern science, integrative health, women’s wellness, nourishment, and self-empowerment.

What was your background prior to starting your own business?

After years working in ABC Studios, Goldman Sachs, the NFL for SuperBowl 51, and Music Cares, a non-profit arm of the Grammy’s, I’ve been called to launch Divine Lifestyles. For me, Divine Lifestyles is neither a job nor a career—it’s a spiritual commitment and a vocation.

Take us back to when you first launched your business; what was your marketing strategy to get the word out and did it go as planned?

I have always been focused on organic marketing by embodying my message by living through example with my work. Yes, it is going as planned but could always use more marketing support.

What is the biggest challenge you have encountered along the way so far and what have you learned from it?

My biggest challenge has been scaling and hiring the right team members. I have learned patience is a virtue and community is key. Having the right advisors and mentors is game-changing.

What accomplishment are you the most proud of to-date in your business?

Launching the Divine Lifestyles Collective, The Divine Daily Practices & hosting sold-out retreats internationally.

Do you have any recent wins from the last year that you’d like to celebrate with our community?

Yes, my upcoming women’s healing retreat is this October 16-22, 2024. Following the success of my last retreat in Mexico, here comes another opportunity to foster a deeper connection within, connect with the earth, and the elements, in a circle of incredibly powerful women. I invite others to join Divine Lifestyles for a six-night, seven-day luxury women’s retreat to discover the healing lands of Tulum, Mexico, combining the wisdom of ancestral medicine with modern science to empower your physical health, awaken your spirit, and transcend generational trauma.

There are limited spots available here or email me directly at: taramagalski@divinelifestyles.com.

Video recap from last year here. Testimonials here.

That sounds super relaxing and enlightening! What’s next for your business? What can we expect to see over the next few years?

I’m planning to grow my retreat business to four international retreats a year, hire a full-time CTO, marketing team and business development/sales person. I am currently writing my book and will create my first product offering in the next year.

What is your top productivity tip?

Divine Daily Practices: mindful movement, meditation, breathwork, prayer, and chanting get my mind clear and focused.

On the flip side, how do you avoid burnout?

Self-care and dedicating time each day to my Divine Daily Practices.

What is your approach to work-life balance / integration?

Adding in more joy, hiring the right team to support, and trusting the process.

What is one thing you wish you had known when you started your Entreprenista journey?

Just get started. I allowed fear and limiting beliefs to stall me for years!

What’s the one app on your phone you absolutely cannot live without and why?

Instagram, it’s how I stay connected to everything.

What is your favorite business tool or solution and why?

I love Nova Ai & Podsqueeze, all the tools that make my life easier when it comes to marketing.
