Meet the Entreprenista 100 Innovator of the Year, Addie Gundry
The Entreprenista 100 Innovator of the Year award, presented by Chase Ink, honors a forward-thinking founder whose original strategies and solutions demonstrate unparalleled creativity and business insight.
Our Innovator of the Year is Addie Gundry, Founder and CEO of Pluie, the first and only self-sanitizing diaper changing table for public restrooms.
Once a physics major, Addie dropped out of college to attend culinary school, competed and won on Cutthroat Kitchen, and became a finalist on The Next Food Network Star. The author of 11 cookbooks, Addie’s ‘ah-ha’ moment came at a restaurant when she was changing her son’s diaper—and Pluie was born.
Powered by a patented UV-C light, killing 99.9% of germs, bacteria, and viruses, Pluie changing tables lend peace of mind to consumers and cost-savings to business owners, ensuring a clean surface after every use, every time.
Pluie’s mission is to advocate for all parents and caregivers whether at home or on-the-go. Featured on Shark Tank, Pluie has also been recognized by Fast Company as a World Changing Idea and TIME as a Best Invention. Addie was also recognized by Inc. Magazine as a Female Founder to Watch.
Congratulations to our Innovator of the Year, Addie!
